"Pan Galactic Gargoyle Blaster" by Gargoyle
This tune is a tribute to Douglas Adams. It is a funk piece with a very emphasized bass. It includes a guitar part by David Molnar (thanks mate!). PGGB was fun to compose; hope you like it. Turn up your speakers and annoy your neighbors. This is the MP3 version; the ImpulseTracker module is available as well.

The bassline of this is all funk, albeit there is little change in it. I would have liked to see a couple flourishes in it here and there. The "Live" guitar solo is a highlight in this song. There's a couple synths in here, which, strictly speaking, don't feel quite so funky, but has more of an 80's techno-spacey feel to it, which fits with the theme. As well, the Wah-ed instrument (sounds like a synthesized guitar) could use a bit of work. Sounds like a single wah-ed sample being played over and over... A variation on the wah would have given it a more realistic feel to it. On the whole, a good tune, but minor problems left me wanting a little bit more, at times. Some parts (the intro bass Line, and the Guitar Solo in particular) deserve a 5, others deserve a 3, so it all averages out...
